Narrow Escape For Abhishek Bachchan

“Jako rakhe Saiyan mar sake na koi” this proverb has proved to be the destiny of Abhishek Bachchan. Abhishek had a narrow escape from delhi bomb blasts. On 13th Abhishek was in the town for some event and to shoot some part of his upcoming film –Dilli 6. Abhishek was on his way to cannaught place for the function when blasts at C.P took place. It was the jam packed traffic of delhi which played the role of a savior for his life and he is safe today.
Amitabh Bachchan sympathises with the innocent victims and writes in his blog:
Lives have been lost, innocent lives of loved ones. I have no words to express grief and sorrow at this. Nothing else comes through my mind except the horror of the incident. I am sad and deeply disturbed.
By God’s grace Abhishek is safe today but for them who have lost their dear ones in the blasts, we pray the almighty to give them strength and courage to cope up with the loss.

Shipa's Slap Story

Sizzling diva Shilpa Shetty is known to be a quiet person but finally she has proved it wrong and has slapped a fellow actor. She has done this with full concern and not by any mistake or any misunderstanding. Don’t be in the dilemma guys this was actually for a scene in her forthcoming film “The Man”.
In one of the shots she had to slap her fellow actor Sudhanshu Pandey but the actor says she has never slapped any of her co-stars onscreen and that’s why she was very uncomfortable with the shot. Shilpa said it was not as simple as one might have imagined. Finally as she had no option left she slapped Sudhanshu so hard that she ended up scratching his face and leaving nail marks. After the shot she started non-stop apologizing. Even the actor did not mind Shilpa went on apologizing and also send him a bunch of flowers.
We don’t know about the man in the film but this man would definitely be happy as she has pampered him a lot. Miss Bollywood has always tried to stay away from the films that demands violence, though she has played the role of a tough police officer in Dus. After Apne, Shilpa is paired opposite to Sunny Deol once again in “The Man”.

“Welcome To Sajjanpur” is an upcoming comedy directed by Shyam Benegal with Shreyas Talpade and Amrita Rao in the lead roles. Initially the film was named as Mahadev Ka Sajjanpur but Shreyas insited to rename the name the film as Welcome to Sajjanpur. Shreyas is playing Mahadev in the film. Let’s hope the change in name can do some wonders for this movie. Till then u guys enjoy the trip to Sajjanpur through this promo.

Old Wine In a New Bottle

“Billo Barber” is an upcoming bollywood movie directed by Priyadarshan and Shahrukh Khan besides producing the film also playing the role of a superstar in the film. Other actors in the film are Irrfan Khan, who is playing the main role of a barber ‘Billo’ and Lara Dutta his wife. Kareena Kapoor and Deepika Padukone are in the guest appearances in the movie.
It is the story of a village barber ‘Billo’ who is not able to cope up with the changing trends. Billo’s childhood friend becomes a superstar (SRK) and one day when the superstar visits the village for a shooting, Billo fails to meet the obvious expectation of people and rest of the story is finally how they meet and recognize each other. This is the modern story of Krishna-Sudama friendship. Though it is same stereotype hindi movie of rich and poor, it would be interesting to watch two Khans together. The movie is slated to release on 7th November.

Saas Bahu Aur Sensex

Saas Bahu Aur Sensex” was slated to release on September 12 but the makers have decided to shift the release date by one week and now the film will release on 19 september. Tanushree Dutta, Ankur Khanna, Kiron Kher and Farooq Saikh are in the lead roles. Directed by Shona Urvashi this is a film on changing face of India with all spices like comedy, drama and emotion in equal amount.
The movie is set against the backdrop of a positive view of stock market. It shows how a woman gets into the field of stock market and begins to learn the trade.

Salman- A Help For Helpless

The megastar Salman Khan has once again proved his novelty. This macho angel is known for helping deprived and has a great human side to him. Salman will perform in a charity show to help the victims of Bihar floods. The show will be held in October and will be organized by Wizcraft Event Management Company.
It is so happened that Sanjay Nirupam requested Salman to participate in a rally in Mumbai to support the cause of the flood victims but since Salman was busy with his shoots so he was unable to attend the rally but when Nirupam requested him to do a live charity show, Salman agreed.
Salman has always been an angel for the needy people. We expect these kinds of social responsibility from other Bollywood superstars also.

Puttar or Potter

The people who says “naam me kya rakha hai” we tell you “naam me bahut kuch rakha hai”. The Hollywood studio which owns the right to the boy wizard movie has taken the Indian producers to the court and that’s just because the film’s title. Since the name Hari Puttar is too similar to “Harry Potter” Warner bros is taking legal action against the producer of the movie.
Hari Puttar- a comedy of terrors has become terror for its makers. It is a story of a ten year old boy who moves to Britain with his family. The boy fights two criminals who are trying to steal a secret formula devised by his scientist father. Warner bros threatened to sue the makers of “Hari Puttar”. But producer Munish Purii has defended the movie saying that the movie has nothing common with ‘Harry Potter”. Munish said Hari is a common Indian name and puttar is a punjabi word which means son. The problem is just because of the accent.
In the hearing Judge Reva Khetrapal saw the trailers and remarked that “this looks quite similar to Home alone” and now next hearing is on Monday. The film slated to release on 12th September.

Amitabh and Priety's Best Shot

Amitabh Bachchan and Priety Zinta’s most awaited film “The Last Lear” can do majic for Indian Film Industry. It’s a movie with influential and heavy dialogues. The movie is based on the script of Utpal Dutt’s play Aajker Shahjahan. The director Rituparno Ghosh has won multiple awards in his career and he is ready with his another shot as ‘The Last Lear’ starring Amitabh Bachchan, Preity Zinta, Arjun Rampal, Shefali Shah and Divya Dutta.
Amitabh Bachchan is looking tremendous in his long white hair and Priety has never looked as pretty before. The only word for her is Gorgeous. The actress will receive the Smitha Patil Memorial Award at the Silver Jubilee Global Award function. Priety has been selected for this award for her contributions to Hindi Film Industry.

The movie has already received awesome responses and long standing ovations at the world prestigious award functions in London, Rome and Toronto. The film has the speaciality of being Amitabh Bachchan’s first ever English movie, stated to be the one of the most challenging roles that Amitabh has ever played. But he made sure that he comes with a bang.Madhur has always experimented with new subjects and he would like to surprise his audiences worldwide with his new project. kangana Ranaut is all set to go bald for Faishon.after much discussion and debate with Bhandarkar finally decided her final look as he wanted the actress to fit former model 'Geetanjali Nagpal'. Faishon is based on Geetanjali's life who was recently in the much controversey.

Tahaan

“Tahaan” is being called the story of a boy with a grenade but it is not based upon any real incident and completely a fiction. It is the journey of an eight year old child whose life revolves around the quest to find real purpose in his little world. The film highlights how conflicts impact children’s mind and their lives. Directed by Santosh Sivan, the movie is entirely shot in Kashmir and narrates the story of Tahaan and his quest across the mountains to find his donkey friend Birbal. For Tahaan, bringing his favourite donkey back home becomes the one and only purpose in life.
Rahul Bose’s character in the film is of a 35 year old simple fool. It does not take him long to fall in love with a woman. According to Rahul this is the first time when he is playing such a weird and wonderful character in a film. Saarika is playing tahaan’s mother in the film. The actress was seen in “Parzania” based on Gujarat riots of 2002 that added a national award to her credit. The film releases on 5th September.

Is Akshay Kumar the new King of Bollywood? Akshay has got an offer from top Hollywood and Chinese artiste Jackie Chan. Jackie has approached Mr. Khiladi and asked him if he could star with him in a future film of his. In the past Akki has openly said that he would love to work with Chan and this opportunity comes at the right time when Akshay has left no stone unturned to compete with Shahrukh. Recently in a press conference Akki pointed Shahrukh for his endorsement of a fairness cream also he said that no one accept ‘Amitabh Bacchan’ could be the King of Bollywood. Khiladi Kumar starrer “Chandi Chowk to China” is on a collision with SRK’s home production “Biloo Barber”. If there is no change in the release dates, it would be the clash date between Singh and King. The combat is evenly poised and it would be interesting to watch who exterminate whom or may be both of them will survive.
