Amitabh: I Slept With Gun Under Pillow

“As the events of the terrorists attack unfolded in front of me, I did something for the first time and one that I had hoped never ever to be in a situation to do. Before retiring for the night, I pulled out my licensed .32 revolver loaded it and put it under my pillow, for a disturbed sleep”. These are the few lines Amitabh Bachchan has written in his blog after the terror attacks in Mumbai.

The veteran actor said that for the first time in his life he slept with his loaded licensed revolver under his pillow.

Big B also writes in his blog “My pain has been the sight and plight of my innocent and vulnerable and completely insecure countrymen, facing the warmth of this terror attack. And my anger has been at the ineptitude of the authorities’ that have been ordained to look after us.

The actor said he was glued to the TV screen late on Wednesday night when security personnel battled the terrorists, who killed 125 people and injured 327 across the city.

He further says, he salutes people who have laid down their lives for us. I can only but salute them and respect their sincerity on the call of duty.
Bachchan says, he bows before the spirit of Mumbai and wishes this spirit never ends.

Aamir Khan- Shocked, Heartbroken, Helpless And Angry

One of the finest actor of Bollywood ‘Aamir Khan, is absolutely shocked and heartbroken to see terror attacks in Mumbai. The prolific blogger has expressed his anger, revulsion, helplessness and pain through his blog. Aamir has been following the shocking developments in the city he loves so much.

“I have been watching television since yesterday and to see various locations in Mumbai turned into a war zone is shocking and heartbreaking, to say the least. My heart felt condolences to the families of persons killed and taken hostage! What would the people caught inside by be going through? The fire fighters were doing their best but my imagination was running wild and I was feeling helpless watching other people trapped in the rooms adjoining the fire.” Said Aamir.

Aamir also write, “When will these politicians realize and admit that terrorist have no religion. Terrorists are not Hindu or Muslim or Christian. They are not people of religion or God. They are people who have to be dealt with in that manner.

Not just Aamir, superstar Amitabh Bachchan and other actors of Bollywood have also expressed their solidarity with the slain police officers and offered their condolences. They have also expressed their numbness at the events that unfolded in the beloved city.

The Buzz is that, actress Priyanka Chopra is on ‘Colud 9’ after two back to back hits ‘Fashion’ and ‘Dostana’ and is the lucky one to be chosen as the “Goddess of Atlantis” at Dubai.

Priyanka has been chosen to officially inaugurate Atlantis, The Palm, Dubai’s latest iconic luxury resort at a $40 million glittering function on Thursday. Atlantis, The Palm is the flagship resort of Palm Jumeirah, one of the three palm-shaped artificial islands of the coasts of Dubai. It has 360-degree views of ocean.

The key attraction of the function was a grand fireworks display to unveil the resort. And get this- the fireworks show was created by the same people behind the ones at the Beijing Olympics.

The actress walked the red-carpet amongst Hollywood celebrities like Lindsay Lohan, Denzel Washington, Robert De Niro and Gerard Butler from Hollywood.

Zulfi Syed Gets Good Offers From Bollywood

Model-turned-actor and the most shy and soft spoken person among the other housemates in ‘Bigg Boss’ Zulfi Syed, has been noticed by filmmakers after the show and is now getting good offers.

Zulfi denies the fact that he accepted the show to get publicity. He said that, he wanted to be a part of the show not only for money and popularity but because he wanted to see whether he can live without any communication from outside world or not.

Now the actor says he is looking forward to a better career in films. On being asked whether he is disappointed on not winning ‘Bigg Boss’, he said, I was not disappointed and for me, prestige is more important than money.

Ashutosh Wins 'Bigg Boss', Gets 1 Crore

‘Bigg Boss 2’ winner Ashutosh Kaushik has presented a true story of ‘rags to reaches’. After an eventful stay of 94 days in Bigg Boss house, Ashutosh Kaushik emerged the winner. He belongs to a small town of Saharanpur, in U.P where his only source of income until six months back was a tiny dhaba. Life took a u-turn for him when he won the fifth season of MTV’s reality show ‘Roadies’. Ashutosh survived three evictions while he was in Bigg Boss house. He was often accused of using foul language inside the house and criticized for his unhealthy living habits. Though he shared a good relationship with almost every member in the house but his closeness with former ‘Miss India’ Diana Hayden became the topic of gossip inside the house and caused much flap in the media.

Ashutosh was one of the three finalists on the show after Rahul Mahajan took voluntary exit. He walked away with Rs 1 crore in cash on Saturday night. Raja Chaudhary became the first runner-up and model-actor Zulfi Syed was declared the second runner-up.

"Luck By Chance" For Shahrukh And Hrithik

Two heartthrobs of Bollywood Shahrukh Khan and Hrithik Roshan are coming together once again after a long period for the film “Luck By Chance” produced by Farhan Akhtar’s sister Zoya Akhtar. Zoya’s directorial debut is a contemporary take on the Mumbai film industry. Together, Shahrukh and Hrithik were last seen in ‘Kabhie khusi Kabhie Gham’. Zoya is following the path of Farah Khan and looking forward to an “Om Shanti Om” where she would pull a large number of stars for a song.

After ‘Rock On’ which was released in August, ‘Luck by Chance’ will be the second acting venture of Farhan. Zoya is all set to introduce her brother Farhan as the leading man in her debut film. According to sources the film is slated to release on 30th January.

Beside brother Farhan, other actors in the film are Shahrukh Khan; who will be playing himself, Hrithik will be playing the role of a struggling actor who wants to strike big in Bollywood though Hrithik has already made it clear that the audience would see less of the dancer in him. Konkana is playing the role of an upcoming starlet, Rishi Kapoor performs the role of a typical Punjabi Producer while Juhi Chawla plays his wife and last but not the least; Karan Johar will be taking the director’s mantle. Rani Mukherjee and Kareena Kapoor are in guest appearances for the film.

Rahul Mahajan Evicted From Bigg Boss

The favorite buddy among the inmates and viewers of ‘Bigg Boss’, ‘Rahul Mahajan’ finally evicted out of Bigg Boss. Junior Mahajan and the three other housemates Raja Chaudhry, Julfi Syed and Ashutosh Kaushik demanded ready to eat meal as neither of them wanted to cook but when their request was denied they broke the biggest rule of Bigg Boss and stepped out of the house. The four got caught later and Bigg Boss asked for an apology. Raja, Zulfi and Ashutosh apologized for breaking the rule but Rahul stood firm to his decision of not to apologize and finally on the grounds of disobedience he took voluntary exit on his own decision and that’s also when they were only five days away from the grande finale. He was ready to relinquish the money for the three needy contestants. He was the strongest contender of Bigg Boss house who survived five evictions.

Whatever, but undoubtedly Rahul is the real winner of Bigg Boss. He not only won the audience with his chivalry but also showed the three iron hearts melt in tears for him.

Salman's New Avtaar In "Veer"

It’s not been a very rewarding year for Bollywood hottie Salman Khan. After flops like, GTGH, ‘Hello’, Sallu is trying hard to hit the blockbuster charts with his upcoming flick, ‘Yuvvraaj’ and ‘Veer’. Veer is about an Indian warrior fighting the British Raj. The film reveals the period of 1800. The film will be similar to multiple Oscar winner “Gladiator”, and feature Salman in the role of Gladiator.

Apart from having Indian actors the film will also feature western faces. Salman is currently busy trying to get into perfect shape for the film.The reason why ‘Veer’ is being seen as such a hot proposition is because its story is written by Salman himself. Sohail khan and Mithun Chakraborty have also been signed to essay some very important characters in the film.

According to inner sources the female lead in ‘Veer’ is Zarine khan whose look is very much similar to Katrina Kaif. Reportedly, ‘Veer’ is pegged at a staggering budget of Rs 120 crores. ‘Veer’ will be one of the biggest films the country has ever produced, said Salman. 'Golmaal' Has Become A Brand: Ajay Devgan

Actor Ajay Devgan is flying really high these days after his film has become one of the biggest hits of year 2008.

After playing central character in two highly successful comic capers- “Golmaal” and it’s recently released sequel ‘Golmaal Returns’.
